Why we teach reconciliation notes after every campaign

Campaigns rarely fail in the first message. They drift when nobody writes down what changed mid-week. A reconciliation note is a dated paragraph that names what you tried, what shifted, and what you will keep.
In our Campaign Playbook: Seasonal Windows, participants end each arc with a half-page note. Managers tell us the note becomes the fastest onboarding artifact for new shift leads.
If you skip the note, you still have messages—but you lose the reasoning that makes the next season faster. Keep the note plain, store it alongside templates, and revisit it before you duplicate the arc.
